Spray Program For Tribute Turf Herbicide
- The speed of removal depends on the air temperature. Warm temperatures result in faster weed removal.
- At temperatures of 21ºC and above, the removal of cool-season grasses takes at most one week.
- If temperatures are 15ºC or lower, removal takes at least two to three weeks.
- Tribute Herbicide works best as a transition aid when warm-season grass is growing strongly as it comes out of dormancy.
- To remove Ryegrass or Clumpy Rye, use Tribute when the desirable grass is actively growing.
- It is not advisable to use Tribute during cold periods in the Winter.
- You may need to make two or more applications of Tribute herbicide 7 to 14 days apart to control some grasses.
- Use Tank Aid to make sure that you clean any residuel out of any spray equipment.
- Soil moisture plays an important role in the results you get. If it’s too dry the results tend to be poor.
